It's great news for Ronaldo fans as CR7 has broken yet another record by becoming the first football billionaire. This is a key milestone achievement in his career and a record-breaking moment as a footballer. Some idealists might argue that money comes after passion and that the love for the sport is the main aim of a player. While that is not wrong, in a globalized and capitalistic society, money does come into play no matter what. Ronaldo has reached this stage through years of hard work and dedication.

CR7: The Footballer Who Built a Billion-Dollar Empire Beyond the Game

He is currently associated with Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia. It made big news when reports revealed his contract of $200 million per year. Indeed, he has to be a billionaire with this much money. His previous stints with Manchester United and Real Madrid were also historic, which makes sense for a player like Ronaldo. He is also connected with global brands like Nike, Herbalife, Clear, and Binance, which are a large source of revenue. If a footballer with entrepreneurial roots has to be named, it has to be Ronaldo because he has created a brand out of himself. CR7 has also done ads and brand collaborations with fashion, hotels, and gyms, spanning across various industries.

Cristiano Ronaldo: The Billion-Dollar Icon Redefining Football and Beyond

Ronaldo has been playing for Al Nassr for some time now and has referred to it as his “second home.” His previous tenure at Juventus also gained significant attention after CR7 joined, and he made substantial earnings during that period. Comparatively, Messi and Mbappe have fortunes around $650 million to $700 million. Ronaldo's brand image and his status as a global brand have contributed significantly to his wealth.

He has also had a strong season, and fans hope to see him in the 2026 World Cup for Portugal—potentially the final feather in his cap. As a Ronaldo fan, that would be the ultimate wish. Even after his Inter Miami contract and an Adidas ad, Messi stands at $650 million, while Mbappe earns substantial figures with PSG and Real Madrid deals but still trails behind Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has also launched a fitness clinic in Riyadh, expanding his global presence across the world.
