Celebrity couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are reportedly heading towards a divorce. The couple seems to have hit a rough patch in their 14 years long marriage, and have been living separately for quite some time. The separation/divorce rumours reached their peak when both Jay and Mahhi deleted pictures of each other from their social media handles.
A Hindustan Times source claims that "many attempts (to salvage their marriage) were made, but nothing changed. The separation took place a long time ago. Their divorce was filed a few months ago. The custody of the children has also been settled upon, and the documents have been signed and finished in July and August."
According to the aforementioned source, Mahhi's trust issues with Jay were the first sign of trouble in paradise. The couple were formerly well-known for their collaborative vlogs, but they no longer share photos of themselves together. Although the two have removed all visual evidence of their relationship from social media, they continue to follow one another on Instagram.
The couple was last spotted together at their daughter's birthday celebration in August of this year, and even then, the shared pictures and videos showcased the duo keeping each other at a distance.
Before that, in July, Mahhi dubiously reverted her way when asked questions about her marriage with Jay. In a conversation with Hauterrfly, when asked about the divorce rumours being true or false, Vij remarked: "Even if that is true, why should I tell you? You're my uncle? Will you cover my legal fees? What causes people to take someone's divorce or separation so personally? I see individuals posting things like, "Jay aisa hai, Mahi toh decent hai," in my comments area. Then, "Jay accha hai, Mahi hi aise hai" is written by another. All they wish to do is assign blame. Are you aware of the truth at all? How much do you know?
Jay Bhanusahli recently took a trip to Tokyo with his children, a trip wherein his wife, Mahhi, was noticeably absent. Additionally, according to reports, Mahhi had since shifted to a new house in Mumbai along with the kids.
Jay and Mahhi's romance began when the two were introduced to each other at a mutual friend's party. The couple tied the November 2011, after getting engaged to each other a year prior. They share three children together.
