Indian football fans have a reason to celebrate as Lionel Messi has officially confirmed his tour to India in December 2025 — the much-awaited GOAT Tour of India. The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner will visit Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi. His tour will start from December 13 and end on December 18 in New Delhi. The legend last visited India in 2011.

Messi’s India Tour Schedule and Events

The GOAT Tour is scheduled in four cities where football exhibitions, celebrity matches, concerts, and fan engagement will take place.

Kolkata (Dec 13): A seven-a-side exhibition featuring Lionel Messi, Bhaichung Bhutia, Sourav Ganguly, and Leander Paes will be held for the GOAT Cup at the Salt Lake Stadium.

Mumbai will host a Padel GOAT Cup featuring global and Indian celebrities. Besides that, exclusive fan events will also be scheduled.

Ahmedabad & Delhi:
Now it’s time for cultural events, youth football clinics, and the much-anticipated meeting between Messi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which would close the tour.
