Avika Gor, beloved actress of the Hindi soap serial Baalika Vadhu, has gotten hitched to her longtime beau, Milind Chandwani.
On the sets of the couples' reality show Pati, Patni, Aur Panga, Avika and Milind tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony. All of the rituals, from Haldi and Mehendi to Baarat and Phere, took place on the sets of the show itself. Fellow contestants Hina Khan, Rubina Dilaik, Isha Malviya, Munawar Faruqui, and many more joined in the joyous celebration.
The wedding festivities commenced with the couple seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha at the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai, on the first day of the auspicious Navratri celebrations.
In the recently shared wedding photographs, the couple looked quite snazzy in their nuptial outfits. Avika looked every part of a dazzling bride in her deep red and gold legendary paired with intricate emerald jewellery, while Milind looked quite dashing as a groom as he sported a peach and gold sherwani and a matching turban. Ever since the news of their wedding got out, the couple has received many congratulations and felicitations from other celebrities as well like Vikrant Massey, Ridhima Pandit, Karan Grover, Rashmi Desai and many more.
Speaking to the Hindustan Times, Avika revealed her thoughts on this joyous milestone in her life. "There are days when I wake up and remind myself that it’s real. I feel very lucky and blessed to have found a partner who supports me, understands me, and always pushes me to grow in life. I always used to tell my parents, "I will either do a court marriage that no one will get to know about or have a grand wedding that the whole world will celebrate.’ It’s like my childhood dream is coming true," she exclaimed.
Prior to joining Pati, Panga, Aur Panga, Avika and Milind got engaged this year in June in a private ceremony in the presence of their friends and family. The couple first met through a mutual friend, and while at first their relationship was platonic, the relationship evolved into a romantic one. We wish the couple all the best in their married life!
