Prashant Kishor’s party Jan Suraaj released its inaugural list of 51 candidates on Thursday, signaling an aggressive push to challenge the NDA and INDIA alliance. The announcement was made through a press conference addressed by party chairman Manoj Bharti, RCP Singh, and Pappu Singh.
The party includes the name of former IPS R.K. Mishra from Darbhanga seat, senior advocate Y.V. Giri from Manjhi seat, retired Colonel J.P. Sinha from Chapra seat, Doctor A.K. Das from Muzaffarpur seat, famous Bhojpuri singer Ritesh Pandey from Kargahar seat, and Jan Nayak Karpori Thakur’s granddaughter Jagriti Thakur from Morwa seat. The Jan Suraj strategically released the list of candidates, which balances the caste representation as well as their motto of education, as they distributed tickets to educated people.

The Jan Suraaj will kick off their campaign from 11th October in the RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav’s seat, Raghopur. Prashant Kishor earlier said that the party will focus on 28 percent neutral votes from major blocks. The first list of Jan Suraaj shows that they have done everything very strategically.
