The US Open 2025 fourth round was quite interesting. A lot of drama and thrilling encounters unfurled on the courts of New York, with high-octane energy and neck-to-neck fights. There were notable matches that the audience enjoyed to the core. The likes include Naomi Osaka, Jannik Sinner, Swiatek, and Sabalenka.

Osaka’s Comeback, Swiatek’s Precision, and Pegula’s Perfect Run

Women's singles and here Naomi Osaka showed her magic. Osaka clashed with none other than the famous Coco Gauff. The match ended in a late-night drama with a scoreline of 6-3,6-2. From the very first set onwards, Osaka took control by hitting a lot of forehand shots. This prompted confidence in Osaka, who then took forward her momentum. The key to her victory was patience and resilience. For Osaka, it was a moment of pride as she qualified for a Grand Slam after 2021. The emotions were high on the ground as this marked a comeback after years for Osaka. There was also another match where Swiatek had a landslide win against Ekaterina Alexandrova by a scoreline of 6-3,6-1. Swiatek used the trademark precision to reach the victory line. In another banger, Jessica Pegula, another perfect, continued her victory lap by securing another win and this time against Ann Li with a perfect stat of 6-1,6-2. Aryna Sabalenka can't be forgotten here as she also advanced to the quarterfinals with consecutive wins.

Sinner Shines, Musetti Breaks Through, Rublev and de Minaur Advance

The men's singles saw other key players with their actions on the nets. Jannik Sinner booked his seat in the quarterfinals with a phenomenal win over Alexander Bublik with the scoreline of 6-1,6-1,6-1. Lorenzo Musetti, on the other hand, as he jammed Jaume Munar with straight sets of 6-3, 6-0, 6-1, and this was also a record-breaking moment for him as he qualified for his first quarter finals, and that too in the US Open.
