Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min have teamed up for the very first time to serve fans one of the best romance tropes K-dramas have to offer: Fake Marriage. The romcom kdrama, titled "Would You Marry Me?", explores the 90-day contract marriage between a designer, Yoo Me-Ri (Jung), and a narcissist bakery heir, Kim Woo-Joo (Choi).

The kdrama will air on SBS TV on October 10, 2025, with new episodes dropping every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM KST (6:20 PM IST). For the international audience, the kdrama is making its debut on Disney+ Hotstar in select countries. The kdrama will consist of a total of 12 episodes.
The Plot: What is it about?
The story unfolds when Yoo Me-Ri, a short-tempered designer, proposes a bizarre plan to a team leader in her partner firm, Kim Woo Joo: to enter into a 90-day contractual marriage. The twist is, Me-Ri breaks off her engagement when she catches her fiancé (also named Kim Woo Joo) cheating on her, and loses her house in the process. Out of options and becoming increasingly desperate, Me-Ri seeks out Woo Joo (Choi Woo-Shik) for a deal, who, coincidentally, shares the same name as her cheating ex-fiancé. The plan is simple: the "couple" would enter into a contest to win a luxury newlywed house, Yoo-Mi would take control of the estate, and after the time duration of their contract marriage expires they'll both go their separate ways. But as Yoo-Mi and Woo-Joo clash heads and keep up the pretence of their "marriage," their relationship evolves into something deeper, and the line between fake and real feelings gets blurred. Will Woo-Joo and Me-Ri fall in love?
Who else stars in Would You Marry Me?
The lead characters in this series are Jung So Min and Choi Woo Shik, who will portray the characters of Yoo Me-Ri and Kim Woo-Joo, respectively. Apart from them, the series also stars Shin Seul Gi as Yoon Jin Kyung and Bae Na Ra as Baek Sang Hyun. Seo Beom Jun will portray the character of Me-Ri's ex-fiancé, whose cheating causes all the mess in Me Ri and Choi Woo Shik’s lives.
